Submissions

Author Guidelines

ICESET2026 welcomes submissions in English or Bahasa Malaysia within the conference scope.

1. Initial Abstract Submission

Please submit your abstract first. Provide the paper title, abstract, keywords, author names, institutional affiliations and corresponding author’s email address. Upload the abstract as a Microsoft Word file.

2. Participation Category

Please indicate one participation category in the “For the Editors” message:
• Pre-Recorded Video Presenter
• Non-Presenter (Proceedings and Journal Publication Only)

3. Abstract Assessment

The secretariat will assess the abstract and notify the corresponding author of the outcome. Submission of an abstract does not automatically confirm acceptance.

4. Full Paper Submission

After abstract acceptance, authors will receive instructions for submitting the full paper under the same submission record. Please do not create a separate submission for the full paper.

5. Video Presentation and Slides

Pre-Recorded Video Presenters must subsequently provide a 10–15 minute presentation video in MP4 format and presentation slides. Submission instructions will be provided by the secretariat. The organiser will upload accepted presentation videos to the official GANet YouTube channel.

Non-Presenters are not required to submit a presentation video or slides.

Submission Preparation Checklist

Before submitting, please confirm the following:

• The submission is an abstract for ICESET2026 and falls within the conference scope.
• The abstract is written in English or Bahasa Malaysia.
• The abstract file is in Microsoft Word format.
• The paper title, abstract and keywords have been entered in the submission form.
• All author names, institutional affiliations and email addresses are accurate.
• All co-authors have agreed to this submission.
• The participation category has been stated in the “For the Editors” message.

Pre-Recorded Video Presenter

This category is for authors participating through a Pre-Recorded Video Presentation (PVP).

1. Submit Your Abstract

Please submit your abstract first. The conference secretariat will assess the abstract and notify the corresponding author of the outcome.

2. Submit Your Full Paper

Following abstract acceptance, authors will receive instructions to submit their full paper under the same submission record.

3. Provide Your Video and Slides

Presenters must subsequently provide a 10–15 minute presentation video in MP4 format and presentation slides. Submission instructions will be provided by the secretariat.

Publication on YouTube GANet

The organiser will upload the presentation videos to the official GANet YouTube channel for the conference.
